Conservatories & Orangeries
David Salisbury have been manufacturing high-end, timber buildings for over 30 years. The technology behind our manufacturing process and wide selection of decorative ancillaries means that we can create a large range of designs from simple modern structures to more lavish traditional designs.
Using a matrix of sizes underwritten by our structural engineer, every conservatory and orangery manufactured is designed to meet current British standards. Structural tie-bars are often avoided in the lantern roof thanks to our own concealed bracket system. If required full structural calculations can be supplied.
We offer a range of fascia options and moulds to suit design and structural requirements. Some options for conservatories and orangeries are shown below with more detailed drawings available for download in our CAD Drawings section.
For glazed roofs that require a gable, we have a standard option as well as an enhanced or classic option, both offering different mould options. Gable glass requires on site glazing during fitting.
Factory Glazing Windows & Doors
The casement windows are all glazed in our workshop by our highly skilled team of glaziers. The external beading profile is designed to replicate the look of a traditional bead while utilising modern manufacturing techniques and a concealed pin system which ensures a blemish-free surface to the glazing bead. A full range of glass specifications are available.
By using stepped, double glazed units (triple & single glazed also available) which sit in the rebated lantern fascia, we ensure that roof glazing is a clean, simple and quick operation. Roof glass units sit on top of a specially designed gasket system, acting as protection against water ingress. All of our roofs are capped and finished with a low maintenance aluminium capper which can be powder coated to closely match the timber colour, or another colour of your choosing.
We offer a full range of glass units including slim-lite units, internal blinds, triple glazing and switchable glass. We can supply various other options to improve U-values, reduce heat gain or to ensure greater security. Etched or patterned glazing can also be supplied.
• 24mm double glazed sealed units manufactured to a 4-16-4 configuration. Conforms to BS5713*

A choice of 18mm bonded bars or 44mm (34mm or 24mm with slim-light glazing) through bars allow a full range of fenestration options, from Georgian multi-pane units to semi-circular or Gothic beading configurations. Our highly skilled craftsman and precision engineering allow us to create very complex fenestration designs to an extremely high standard.
